I’m absolutely thrilled with the Maxima Chain Guard! The crystal clear formula really does resist fling-off and keeps my chain clean and protected. I’ve been using it on both my street bike and off-road rig, and it’s performed flawlessly. The fact that it’s safe for X and O-ring chains is a major plus. Overall, I’d highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and effective chain lube. Worth every penny!
What’s the deal with the clear formula? Is it really necessary? Does it make a difference in performance? I’ve only used this lube for a few rides now, but so far, it seems to be doing the trick. The can is quite large, which is great for those who ride frequently. Will continue to use and update review once I’ve had more time to test.

I gave the Maxima Chain Guard 3.5 stars because while it does a great job of keeping my chain clean and protected, I find that it can be a bit pricey for the size of the can. That being said, it’s still an excellent product that performs well and is easy to use. The clear formula does make a difference in visibility, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary. Would recommend this product to others, especially those who ride frequently.
I was initially skeptical about the Maxima Chain Guard, but after using it for a few weeks, I’m convinced it’s one of the best chain lubes out there. The formula is so clean and doesn’t attract dirt like some other products do. It’s also really easy to apply and spreads evenly across the chain. One minor drawback is that the can gets quite heavy when it’s almost empty, but that’s a small complaint. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.
