Why was there a significant decision to add wellbeing precautions like ABS to this model? Has there been any reported brake failure previously?
Jacki –
Dear Su Mei Ling, thank you for your inquiry about the ABS feature of Honda CB400X. The addition of ABS, or Anti-lock Braking System, to this model provides enhanced safety by preventing the wheels from locking up and skipping while braking. Hence, it ensures better control and shorter stopping distances, particularly on slippery surfaces. This improved safety measure is part of Honda’s ongoing commitment to rider safety, rather than a reaction to previous braking issues. We always strive to integrate the latest and best technology into our bikes for superior rider experiences. If you have more queries, feel free to ask.
